These are the intended enhancements (TODOs) for SNMP4J in the future:

• NOTIFICATION-LOG-MIB support for SNMP4J-Agent.
• XML based generic configuration support for SNMP4J-Agent.
• Network discovery engine to discover SNMPv1/v2c/v3 agents based on seed points and ARP tables of routers/switches.
• Log4J SNMP LogAppender implementation based on SNMP4J.
• Version 2.x of all packages will be ported to Java 1.5 (thus Java 1.4 support will be dropped then).

Please address feature requests and suggestion for other future enhancements to the SNMP4J mailing list.
